Excelleration's Adventure Academy for Teens™ learning program is a focused student experience designed to be an extension of current school curriculum. The exercises on our Challenge ROPES Course demonstrate ways to improve upon life skills and develop critical thinking. By presenting students with well-planned team building workshops and exciting activities, the Adventure Academy for Teens™ program allows them firsthand experience with cooperative team behavior, acceptance of individual differences, respect for others, asking for help, taking responsibility, and making decisions. Our method interacts with students at their physical, emotional, social, and psychological level; and it incorporates their perception of self and the world around them. What better way is there for developing successful behaviors than by stimulating self-awareness and an understanding of how they affect their own environment?
Working in collaboration with certain schools" curriculum advisors, Excelleration has developed targeted experiential workshops that have even been shown to increase students' science and math scores on the TAKS™ test! Our student focused team building workshops use adventure filled exercises that encourage groups of students to solve problems by using their "at the moment" experience. Long lasting memories are created that can be used in later applications. Excelleration is also developing multisensory learning programs that encourage both mainstream students and those with learning differences to gain knowledge and skills more effectively.
